Day 3, Grand Geyser Eruption

Watch the unforgettable eruption of the Grand Geyser (The World's Tallest Predicable Geyser), after a thunderstorm walking in the Upper Geyser Basin, is one of the highlight of our whole vacation this time.


We are sitting in the hall of the Old Faithful Lodge to enjoy our ice cream because the thunderstorm. 4:04pm June 30th, 2008.


We were walking into the thunderstorm with our winter coats. The benefit is that there is far less people around you, we think that's more enjoyable to the nature. This is the Chinese Pot geyser. 4:45pm June 30th, 2008.

We feel luck that day, because we returned from the Morning Glory Pool, the Grand Geyser still waiting for us! We arrived the spot about 6PM and we were ready to watch the World's Tallest Predicable Geyser of more than 150 feet eruption! Photo taken 6:28pm June 30th, 2008.

Day 3, Black Sand Basin and Biscuit Basin

Margaret, Clara and me had participated a Ranger Program at Black Sand Basin. The ranger gave a very good informative presentation, about the history, culture and geographical knowledge. Thank you! Yellowstone National Park! Here is the beginning. 1:21pm June 30th, 2008.

Day 3, Old Faithful Geyser


We arrived Old Faithful Area parking lot around 11am. We saw at least 5 Cruise America's RV parked there also, and one near us is from Canada.


Clara and me waited there while Margaret, Noah and mammy went to Old Faithful Inn.


Around the expected eruption time, a lot lot of people just showed up. We never saw this scale of gathering before. It's amazing.
