Day 7: Jenny Lake of Grand Teton


Clara is very proud of becoming a Junior Ranger of Grand Teton National Park. After she made the "Junior Ranger Pledge" at the Colter Bay Visitor Center. The pledge says, "As a Junior Ranger, I promise to appreciate, respect, and protect Grand Teton National Park and the natural world wherever I go." 10:17 AM July 4th 2008.


At the Jackson Lake Junction, 10:37 AM July 4th 2008. A herd of deers (about 120?) showed up there.


We took the North Jenny Lake Ferry to start our hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point.

Day 6: Lake Shore Trail and Swimming

Day 6: Jackson Lake Lodge of Grand Teton

Day 6: Signal Mountain of Grand Teton


While driving from Fishing Bridge RV Park to Grand Teton, we passed by the Lewis Falls. 10:56 AM July 3rd 2008.

Signal Mountain Summit. One mile south of Signal Mountain Lodge and campground. The summit is 800 feet above the valley. Summit overlooks provide a panoramic view of the entire Teton Range, Jackson Lake, and most of Jackson Hole.
