I made the sizzling plate for Clara today, because she always ask me "when do we have the sizzling plate again, daddy?"
I prepared the beef (flank steak, $6.99/lb. from Smiths Marketplace), and the ingredients as shown.
After the sizzling, here is the plate... Clara was satisfied and said "It's yummy!" (before she run out to play with neighbor's kids).
My wife Lily and me prepared the Valentine's Day Banquet at home, after purchased all the meat (Pork, Beef, Fish fillet and Raw Shrimp)and vegetables from Costco store at Lehi. They looks good so we took a few shoots.
Except the "ChongQing Hot Pot Base", we even had the "三边腐竹"(dried tofu) and fresh mushrooms, and fresh strawberry.
I prepare our traditional "Hot Pot Sauce" shown here. The sauce is made of Grounded Garlic, Salt, MSG and Sesame Oil (treated with boiled water to get the taste out).
