Timpanogos Cave Trail

We planned a hike to Stewart Falls in the Alpine Loop through Utah Highway #92, but by the surprise the #92 is closed that day at Pine Hollow. Then Margaret and Clara decided to visit the Timpanogos Cave. This is a beautiful tail and we enjoyed it!

This is east side of Mount Timpanogos [Elevation: 11,749 feet or 3,581 M], from Pine Hollow, Alpine Loop.

Here is the American Fork River near the Monument (largest water level since 2004 to my memory). This year Utah has a lot of snow to melt.

The rock formations, just another side of the canyon, near the Monument.

Because there is a lot of visitors, so we had to wait 50 minute to go on the trail.

This warning sign indicates: 1.5 miles of trail, elevation change is 1065 feet or 329 M.

2 Car-Load Topsoil

Yesterday, we purchased 2 car-load ( about 28 cubic yard) so-called screened topsoil from Jose, for $370; we also spent $250 to have Jose's broths to spread the topsoil we just ordered. Still, we need work very hard to finish the placement of topsoil, a lot of details have to be taken care.

Here are the backyard north strip...

New Technique To Grew Vegetables

This year, we are trying to use a new technique to grew vegetables, that is, we are using plastic foils to control weeds. At the same time, we continue to use drop irrigation system.

Today, I kind of finished the planting stuff.

We have planted 2 Cucumber, 2 Zucchini Squash, 6 Super Fantastic Tomato, 4 Cherry Tomato.

Looks like this year we will harvest a lot CHERRY...

Take a close look...Anyway, so far so good!
